Bought this diffuser in the begginning when i had purchased the canon 580EXII and didnt really know what it was for. I thought it was a cover to protect the flash, then later played with it and saw how it diffuses the flash and the many ways i can bounce lights onto objects, and realized that this is the most basic one. Did a lot of research out there, and many other diffusers are found, each with their own purpose, which is rarely, guns, roll and stroll around..
