This is a very handy pouch to throw my Creative Vado camera into. But I've also thrown a cell phone inside for transportation.This does an excellent job to ensure the contents have a cushion around it to absorb vibration and reduce any shock from drops. The draw string does stay securely closed.In fact, this is my only hint of disgust in which I have to use two hands and concentrate on opening the top to extract whats inside. The handy ring on the outside is useful for latching onto a belt loop, a backpack, your ski jacket, ...etc.Some fun colors make this an inelegant..
